Tension members in guide tubes.-To secure the cable of a Bowden transmitting mechanism to its operating lever, the end 8 of the cable is passed through transverse holes in a flanged bush 1 and a cross bolt 5 mounted in the lever 3, and is clamped by drawing the bolt through the bush by means of a flanged nut 12. The bush is free to rotate in the lever.
