Block tyres.-A tyre is formed of rubber blocks a, adapted to abut when assembled on the wheel, each block being secured to a curved metal baseplate b having countersunk holes d formed in the overhanging parts c, the plates being secured directly to the wheel felloe by bolts passing completely through the felloes The blocks and plates are in plan. In a modification (not shown) two or more rubber blocks may be fitted to one baseplate.
