Sectional framework for endless belt and rope conveyers; standards.-An overhead ropeway conveyer tips material on to a shoot 2 leading to a hopper 2a which delivers on to an endless belt conveyer 1 having a framework composed of a number of articulated sections 3. The idler rollers 7 are mounted on supports 8, and rollers 6 are provided where required to keep the upper run of the belt in contact with the rollers 7. In a modification in which on a straight run the belt is supported by wire ropes 14, Fig. 2, each rope is passed once round a roller 15 where a depression occurs, but the belt passes straight across. In other modifications the belt is replaced by conveyers of the tray and scraper type.
