Abstract

220,613. Leissner, H. F. Aug. 17, 1923, [Convention date]. Cylinders receiving liquid fuel.-Air compressed in the pump 1 vaporizes fuel dropped into the cup 7 and enters w:.th it through the passage 5 into the power cylinder 2. The passage 5 may be tangential to the cylinder 2. The pump and power pistons are connected to the lever 12 carried on the cross-head 14, two connecting rods 15, 16 being used. The mixture is ignited as the valve 6 between the engine and pump cylinders closes.
