Lift valves; seats.-A screw-down valve is provided with a removable nut for the screwed spindle, and with a removable seating. The valve is provided with a removable flanged seating g having openings h below the partition i, and a square portion n to prevent rotation. The seating is secured by a nut q. The nut s is independent of the casing and is prevented from rotating by an angular portion v.
