Bottles, jars, and like vessels, non-refillable.-Relates to valve devices for non-refillable bottles &c. of the kind comprising a valve and a superimposed weight acting directly or indirectly on the valve. According to the invention, a valve 1 and gravity member 5 are held in the mouth of a bottle &c. by a one-piece member 7 constituting a retaining member 9 and a pouring stopper 8. Ways 10 may be formed by means of ribs 11 or indentations on the retaining member, or the gravity member may have elevated local parts. A spacing member 4 is placed between the member 7 and the contracted throat 2 forming the valve seat. In a modification, a solid or tubular thrust member may be interposed between the valve and the gravity member. The side of the bottle may be graduated. An internal shoulder may be substituted for the spacing member 4.
