Chain and like gearing, non-variable speed.- Pulley and snatch-block gear is interposed between the pedal-crank axle A and an axle B carrying the chain-wheel h of a cycle or the like. Three or more cranks a having connecting-webs 1 - - 4 are formed by bending a shaft the ends of which comprise the axle A and carry the pedal cranks i. The axle B is formed in a similar manner with corresponding cranks in line with the cranks a. The cranks a, g are connected by adjustable cables b which pass over pulleys c, beneath pulleys d, carried in snatch-blocks connected to the cranks g, over a third set of pulleys e, and thence to the snatch-blocks. In order to carry the pulleys c, e and the axles A, B, the lower part of the cycle frame is formed with two triangular frames mounted in parallel vertical planes with their bases horizontal. The axles and the pulleys are carried between the corresponding members of the frames.
