Abstract

200,456. Press Caps, Ltd., and Lang, A. A. D. March 21, 1923. Capsules and like closures; sealing-devices for stoppers. - A receptacle closure of the kind described in Specifications 23843/12 and 105,547 and comprising a central bulged portion 1 adapted to be pressed inwards to disengage fingers 2 from the shoulder 6 of the receptacle is provided with a temporary sealing-device comprising an annulus 8 adapted to surround the fingers 2 to prevent them from spreading. The, annulus 8 is formed with an upper flange 9 and a tab 10 integral therewith, and when it is in position on the closure its lower edge is turned inwards to form a retaining flange 11. On pulling the tab 10, the annulus is broken at two weakened portions 12 and can be removed from the closure.
