Abstract

1326114 Tamperproof closures SEIDEL KG GEBR 2 Oct 1970 [11 Nov 1969] 46963/70 Heading B8T In a tamperproof cap and container assembly, initial sealing of the container is effected by crimping the lower edge of a cap skirt under edge 7. Initial removal of the cap requires separating the skirt for example by removing a tear tab 10. Subsequent closure of the container is effected by engaging cap projections 2a under thread projections 4. Various forms of projection are described and the cap projections may be stamped on a cap blank, prior to crimping the skirt under the edge 7, using the container neck as the former.
