Abstract

197,205. PeulevÚ, E. J. May 19, 1922. Straps.-Straps or chains for railway carriage and like windows consist of a number of metal links assembled by flexible binding members having rings at one end and a stop or handle at the other. The links may be formed with flat parts A and reduced ends B to be secured to chains C, and holes H are formed to engage the usual peg. The ends of the chains are secured respectively to a handle G, and a rod E fitted with attachment rings F. In another form, the links have flat sides, and are threaded on a single wire cable. The whole strap may be covered with leather.
