5808. Hopkins, C. Y. March 7. Clips, band.-A clip for securing a flexible pipe comprises a band b attached to a nut b<1>, a casing a, and a tightening-screw c. The casing a is formed from sheet metal, and its edges a<1> are curved to fit the pipe. The end b<2> of the band b is riveted to the nut b<1>, and the free end b<3> is attached by the slot b<4> engaging over the stud b<5>.
