15,982. Brown, J. R. July 8. Locking-apparatus. - A pin d mounted in a bracket a, is adapted to pass between the wheel spokes and to enter a lock casing g secured to a second bracket b. The locking-mechanism comprises a slide k, which can be pressed into engagement with a notched portion d<2> of the pin, and locking-disks n separated by washers o. The disks n rotate on the casing and are provided with notches which, when collinear, allow the slide k to be disengaged from the pin d. With the disks in any other positions, the slide is locked. Each of the disks is provided with a projection q adapted for co-operation with a similar projection s or slot on the key r, the projections s being arranged so that, when the key is returned to rotate all the disks, the notches in the disks are in a line. The lock may be provided with a cover as shown in dotted lines.
