183,040. Bratby & Hinchliffe, Ltd., and Clarke, L. July 20, 1921. Crown corks.. - The mouth of a bottle adapted to be closed by an ordinary crown cork is formed with two oppositely projecting lips a which gradually merge into two opposite parts without any such lips to form an oval shape. Only those parts of the flange of the crown cork opposite the lips are compressed inwardly, this arrangement allowing the closure to be removed by a partial rotation thereof.
