Abstract

197,255. Hammer, F. M. Sept. 20, 1922. Disc closures.-A closure for milk bottles &c. comprises a disc 11 formed of a single thickness of material and having a groove 13 which terminates short of the edge of the disc, leaving thereat two smooth portions 15, and acts as a hinge about which the part 16 of the disc can be turned to permit the contents of the bottle to be poured out. The arrangement provides a disc in which both the upper and lower marginal portions are smooth.
