Abstract

175,059. Humphreys, H. Nov. 9, 1920. Disc apparatucs. - The blades of scissors or penknives or other metal pieces, are mounted, whilst being ground, on a table D pivoted at C to a bracket B, which is mounted by means of bolts and tee-slots on a base A. The base is mounted on a grinding-machine so that the work may be ground by the periphery of the grinding-wheel H, or by the side face thereof, and the bracket is adjusted on the base by a screw J. The angular movement of the table is limited bv the engagement of a depending part of the table with an adjustable stop F; the table is oscillated on its pivots by a handle E.
