Abstract

155,535. White, J., and Wall, A. W. June 12, 1919. Drawings to Specification. Valves.-A rotary sleeve valve encircling or concentric with the piston controls the exhaust and/or admission of the working cylinder and the. admission to a pre-compression chamber, the admission ports to the working cylinder are distributed around the latter, these ports and the exhaust port or ports are arranged at different axial levels near the end of the out-stroke and are open at the same time, and the piston is borne exclusively by a stationary wall. The particular construction described is the same as that described in the concurrent Specifications 155,311 and 155,531 to 155,534.
