Abstract

1537233 Two wheeled vehicles P W BOTHWELL 17 Dec 1975 [17 Sept 1974] 40399/74 Heading B7B In a body for a two-wheeled vehicle, such as a motor scooter, front and rear wheel housings 11, 12 connected to an intermediate engine housing 10 are formed to provide storage space therein. As shown, the front housing 11 has formed therein compartments 13, 14 closed by lids 24, 25. The compartments 13, 14 are separated by a mounting 15 for the front wheel steering head 26. The rear housing is formed with compartment 16 and side panniers 21 which are closed by a common lid 22. The engine housing 10 comprises a housing open at its front and rear ends or connected at its ends to air ducts for cooling the engine during travel. Upward extensions of the engine housing 10 accommodate a fuel tank and/or a battery and mounted on top of these extensions is a padded seat 18.
