1536666 Branch pieces SEKISUI KAGAKU KOGYO KK 29 Oct 1975 [1 Nov 1974] 44553/75 Heading F2G A branch piece, e.g. for sewers, comprises a saddle plate 1 having an opening to which is connected a branch portion 2 suitable for connection to a branch pipe 4, the axis of the outlet of the branch portion being tangential to the plate 1. The branch portion 2 may be bonded to the saddle plate 1 or formed integrally with it. A land is formed around the opening in the saddle plate 1 for location in a hole in a main pipe 3. The saddle plate 1 may be bonded to the main pipe 3. Non-circular pipes 3<1> may be branched-in this way.
