Abstract

1517739 Spray carburetters SOC INDUSTRIELLE DE BREVETS ET D'ETUDES 8 Dec 1975 [20 Dec 1974] 50264/75 Heading F1H [Also in Division F2] Fuel flow to the induction passage 1 is controlled by the alignment of a slot 32, in a tube 28 connected to the air valve 4, with an opening in a pipe 25 resiliently urged into contact with the tube. The opening may be formed in the side wall of the pipe, Fig. 4 ( not shown), which is urged in a direction normal to its axis into contact with the tube 28. The valve 4 is operated by a diaphragm 7 to maintain a substantially constant suction in the chamber 13. A lever 38 on the tube 28 carries a roller 39 maintained by a spring 41 in engagement with a cam fixed to the shaft 5. The valve 4 may be eccentrically mounted in the passage 1.
