1491467 Rope or cable hauled weedcutting buckets B H BRADSHAW & SON (CONTRACTORS) Ltd 27 March 1975 [29 March 1974] 14195/74 Heading E1F A trough-shaped, weed-cutting bucket 10 provided with motor-driven, weed-cutting blades 66 along its longitudinal lower edge is provided with spaced apart anchorage points 38, 40 on the upper part of the bucket for flexible hoist or suspension means and is further provided at the front with spaced apart anchorage points 60, 62 for the attachment of flexible drag means. Preferably the suspension means involves bridle chains 34, 36 connected to a pulley block attached to a hoist cable passing over a portion, e.g. a boom. projecting from the chassis of a machine and the drag means involves bridle chains 56, 58 connected to a coupling 48 of a dragline from a winch on the chassis of the machine. A cable 46 for controlling the angle of attack of the bucket passes from the coupling 48 about a pulley 44 of the block 32 to an anchorage 50, 52 on the bucket.
