Abstract
1489875 Cabinets COURTNEY POPE Ltd and NE ROGERS 14 Jan 1975 [15 Jan 1974] 01844/74 Heading A4B A cabinet or showcase-counter unit comprises wooden end walls 3, 4 inter-connected by frame members comprising top and bottom walls 2, 1 or rails, the frame members being attached to the end walls by bolts 16 passed through holes 11 in brackets 9 secured to the frame members, each bolt 16 engaging a respective nut 15 located in a T-section slot 14 in the associated end wall. The walls 1-4 may have rear edge grooves 17 to locate a back wall 5. Vertical partitions 6 may be adjustably positioned by locating members 18 selectively located in an array of holes 7 in the top and bottom walls. Shelves 20, 21 may be supported by further locating members engaged in holes 13, 19 in the end walls 3, 4 and partition 6. The cabinet may be fitted with sliding doors. Alternatively, Fig. 9, partitions 40, 41 may be located by dowels 42 engaged in the holes 7 in top and bottom walls. Drawers 48 may be supported by rails 43, 44 provided on the partitions 40, 41 and on plates 45 secured to the end walls. In another embodiment Figs. 11-15, (not shown) a showcase-counter unit has end walls inter-connected by rails carrying end brackets and is provided with glass top and front panels.
