Abstract

1486433 Regulating I C engine fuel injection ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 11 Oct 1974 [12 Oct 1973] 44137/74 Addition to 1450579 Heading F1B [Also in Division G3] The system of the parent Specification is modified by the provision of a spring 63 in parallel with the control spring 59 of the valve 42 which regulates the fluid-pressure restoring force acting on the slide valve 14 of the fuel distributer 10. The biasing force provided by the spring 63 is adjusted by a solenoid 74 which positions the spring abutment 77 in dependence upon the oxygen content of the exhaust gases as detected-by a probe 82. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 1283860, 1336606, 1365270 and 1395526.
