Abstract

1480084 Sheet ordering XEROX CORP 5 Nov 1974 [7 Nov 1973] 47862/74 Heading B8R To produce collated sets from sheets issuing from a copying machine, the page 1 sheets are fed through rollers 110, 111 on to the surface of drum 120, the drum being first rotated in a direction to feed a sheet onto the surface and then in succeeding pages to produce a series of inter leaved collated sets which are removed from the drum by shoot 150 and rollers 160, 161. The removal of more than one set at a time is pre vented by pressure roller 170. The sets are stacked in a receiver 180 which is reciprocated to displace alternate sets.
