Abstract

1472285 Grid ceiling panels INTALITE INTERNATIONAL NV 29 April 1974 [30 April 1973] 18684/74 Heading E1W [Also in Division H2] A grid ceiling comprises metal panels 1, 2 having intersecting members 4, 5 forming open cells. The members have two upstanding longitudinally extending walls 4a, 4b joined at their lower edges either directly or by a longitudinally extending base section 4c. The members may be rectangular tubes, rectangular or round bottomed channels or V-section channels, they may be perforated and contain sound absorbing material or be used as ducts for electrical wiring. The members may be formed of aluminium or steel and the panels formed by slotting together the members 4 and 5. The panels may be supported on stringers 3 of the same section as the members 4, 5 which are supported by conventional wire hangers.
