Abstract

The removable partition panels for offices are joined directly together by their aluminium profile edges so that the panels form their own support framework. Two adjacent panels (1, 2) have facing boards (3) enclosing filling material (4) and are edged by aluminium profiles (5) with an integral reinforcing caisson (6) so that caisson and profile edge provide grooves for the facing boards. The profile also has a very short T-branch (8) so that two adjacent panels can be clipped (9) together by the T-branch, and joint strips (10) fill the gap between panels.
