Abstract

1471295 Transfer printing DAWSON INTERNATIONAL Ltd 15 Sept 1975 [11 Dec 1974] 53605/74 Heading B6C Textile web T is fed through padding medium trough, past heaters 7 to tension controlling device 10, into contact with backing paper web B, and into contact with transfer web P, the sandwich then passing about drum 23 where printing is effected. The backing paper web B may also be a transfer web. Drum 23 may be internally heated at 24, and blanket 25, 26 urges the sandwich on to the drum by pneumatic pusher 27. Radio-frequency heater 15 and heater 21 may also be provided.
