Abstract

1438813 Railings REBCO WEST Inc 26 June 1973 30200/73 Heading E1B A frame construction for fence panels comprises two spaced apart posts 12 having channel section panel edge receiving means 31 on opposed faces, first and second rails 14 and 13 defining channel section panel edge receiving means 29, means 18 and 41 for connecting the first and second rails respectively to the posts and covering means 52 for the upper connecting means. The connecting means 19 is secured to the posts by countersunk 'bolts and the means 41 by wedge member 39, the latter connection being descrirbed and claimed in Specification 1294528. The panel edge receiving channels may taper slightly and have ribs on their inner faces at the ends remote from their webs. Reference has been directed by the comptroller to Specification 1294528.
