Abstract

1433363 Web guiding AGFA-GEVAERT AG 16 March 1973 [16 March 1972] 12885/73 Heading B8R [Also in Division G2] A photographic film processing apparatus comprising at least one processing station 2, Fig. 1, is provided with a device for guiding the film 19 through a succession of tanks and includes an endless transport strip 6 passed in a meandering manner over guide rollers 3, ... 8, the strip being provided with a releasable or integral clamp 11 with upstanding projections 11d on which is imparted the leading end of the film 19. The impaling is carried out by a pair of rollers 15, 16, Fig. 2, of which the latter is fluted to force the leading edge with its radial peripheral ribs 16a on to the projections 11d. Prior to impaling, the film is fed against a stop 17, the clamp 11 forcing the leading end into the nip of the rollers 15, 16. The clamp 11 is attached to the strip 6 opposite an aperture 1a of the apparatus i.e. developer 1.
