1425623 Motor vehicles R J KIMBERLEY 3 Aug 1973 37054/73 Heading B7H A road vehicle having two independent rear axles 8 coaxially arranged, at least one wheel 7 at each end of each axle, a differential gear 10 for each axle, each gear being driven by an independent engine, transmission and gear-box unit 11 and transmission system mounted below the chassis at each side thereof. The gear-boxes may be operated by a common shift mechanism. Under non-load conditions only one engine may be used to propel the vehicle.
