1420441 Regulating fuel injection; fuel pumps G K N TRANSMISSIONS Ltd 27 Feb 1973 [3 March 1972] 9944/72 Headings F1B and F1F The subject matter of this Specification is substantially identical with 1417703 but the claims are directed to pressure and temperature sensing means each providing mechanical outputs dependent on conditions in the air inlet duct with mechanism for receiving the outputs and transmitting them to fuel metering means. In a modification of the fuel injection apparatus described in 1417703 valve slots 65a, 69a, Fig. 2 are arranged to admit air to the inlet duct for fast idling. When the temperature rises cam 65 rotates to move the slots out of register to close the valve.
