Abstract

1419689 Rotary harrows C VAN DER LELY NV 2 March 1973 [3 March 1972] 10384/73 Heading A1B A rotary harrow comprises a plurality of soil-working members, each consisting of one (or more) tines 7 carried by an arm 4 at only one side of a vertical shaft 2. Each shaft 2 carries a gear wheel 4A meshing with a neighbouring one so that adjacent shafts rotate in opposite directions. The paths of adjacent tines overlap and interference is avoided by appropriate phasing of the arms. Each arm 4 is provided with a screen 9 to deflect stones and the like.
