Abstract

1389107 Valves DANFOSS AS 1 June 1972 [8 June 1971] 25728/72 Heading F2V A valve 7 operated by a diaphragm 11 against a spring load 9 has one end of its spindle 5 enclosed by a bellows 14 the outside of which is subjected to a reduction in pressure when the valve is opened by the flow of fluid through passages 16, 17. An element 23 adjustably screwed into the bore 16 co-operates with a seat 21 to provide a venturi effect. A flow-restricting insert 20 may be unscrewed from the passage 17 for replacement. The diaphragm 11 may be pressure or temperature operated and the valve may control the flow of refrigerant, such as liquid nitrogen.
