Abstract

1359140 Rotary positive displacement pumps DAVID BROWN TRACTORS Ltd 13 Dec 1971 [18 Dec 1970] 60361/70 Heading F1F [Also in Division F2] The negative pressure at the suction side of a pump 11 drawing oil through a filter 16 is limited by a valve plunger 22, normally blocking communication between the pump discharge 12 and the suction line 15, and connected to a spring- loaded piston 21 which moves under excessive suction communicated by line 23 to open the communication between the pump discharge and suction lines. The end of plunger 22 may be normally urged against a seat between the two parts of L-shaped passage 27.
