1334158 Rotary hydraulic machines YUKEN KOGYO CO Ltd 11 May 1971 [9 July 1970] 14203/71 Heading F1F In a rotary hydraulic machine having radial vanes 7 co-operating with a cam ring 6, the working spaces a, b which are out of communication with both low-pressure and highpressure chambers 2, 3 are connected via openings 14 to an intermediate pressure obtained by connection to the high-pressure chamber 3 via a pressure reducing valve 10. The valve 10 is also connected to an opening 11 in a recess 12 in a side plate 8 to provide an intermediate pressure to bias the vanes 7 in the region of the low-pressure chamber. Further recesses 17 are connected to the high-pressure chamber 3 to bias the vanes over the remainder of their path.
