Abstract

1331978 Stage scenery F BARTELS 14 Dec 1970 [7 March 1970] 59370/70 Heading A6M [Also in Division G5] A wall, e.g. for stage scenery or advertising, comprises a rectangular corrugated cardboard blank 1 having side flaps 9 folded at right angles thereto and having a re-inforcement member 2 secured to the blank 1 and extending between two opposed flaps 9, the member 2 having three folds and being arranged as shown, figure 4. Adjacent blanks 1 are interconnected by bridge members 3 joining adjacent flaps 9. Some sections of a wall may have box-like re-inforcement members 5. Additional re-inforcement members 4, 18, 51 reinforce the flaps 9. The various pieces may be wire-stitched, stapled or glued together. A double wall may be formed with two components placed back-to-back with the members 2 of one component resting on those of another.
