Abstract

1280851 Cartons TILLOTSONS CORRUGATED CASES Ltd 30 Oct 1970 [1 Aug 1969] 38602/69 Heading B8P A carton erected from the collapsed state without stitching or stapling is formed from a cut and creased fibreboard blank and has the form shown in Fig. 1 when flat. The collapsed carton has. two flaps 9, 10 each having an edge strip 11, the shaded regions 14 being stitched or glued to the underlying base portion. By grasping each flap 9, 10 by the strips 11 and pulling them away from one another the carton is erected to the form shown in Fig. 3. Strips 2 on the end of the base are turned inwardly and, with the strips 11, facilitate stacking of one carton upon another. Extensions 13 engaging slots 15 maintain the box in its erected state.
