Abstract

1321175 Removing impurities from fibres VYZKUMNY USTAV BAVLNARSKY 1 Oct 1971 [2 Oct 1970] 45709/71 Heading B2H [Also in Division D1] Dirt is separated from the mixture with fibres in an air stream around toothed cylinder 5 by deflecting the dirt past the fibre outlet duct 11 to a spinning machine and ejecting it through a hole 16 downstream of duct 11. The wall 91 is used to deflect dirt particles past the entrance to the fibre outlet duct 11. The shape of the downstream edge of the feed duct 11 can be arched, Figures 2 and 3, not shown. The fibre outlet duct 11 may lead in a direction opposite to the direction of rotation of the adjacent part of the combing out roller. 12.
