Abstract

1318308 Balanced flues ELECTROLUX Ltd 20 Aug 1970 [12 Sept 1969] 40206/70 Heading F4J A balanced flue type terminal mounted on the external wall of a boat, caravan or house consists of rectangular inlet and outlet openings 29, 27, conduit portions 28, 26 at right angles to the direction of flow through the openings having the same cross-sectional area as the openings, the greater dimensions of the openings being horizontal and the openings lying in the external surface of the wall. The portions 28, 26 are connected to gas-burner apparatus by way of smaller conduits 18, 22. In another form (Fig. 2, not shown) the outlet opening is arranged to lie immediately above the inlet opening, the conduit portions 28, 26 lying one behind the other. The outlet and inlet openings may be covered by a protective grating.
