Abstract

Apparatus for preventing downdraught in chimneys, flues and ventilating ducts comprises a hollow chamber formed by a casing 1 housing a detachable baffle member consisting of a pair of spaced apertured plates 5 held together by tubes 6 connecting opposed apertures. The casing has inlet and outlet pipes 3, 2, and may be provided with an access door or panel or, as shown, may comprise two telescopic sections 1, 1A.
