Abstract

1317438 Operating vehicle doors and windows WILMOT-BREEDEN Ltd 9 July 1970 [16 July 1969] 35810/69 Headings E2A and E2M An assembly for vehicle doors comprises a panel 1 carrying window operating mechanism and a door latch 2 which has flexible cables 4, 5 for connection to operating members 3 external of the door. Panel 1 has a recess 17 in which is mounted door handle 20 connected by link 23, 10 to latch 2. A locking member 13 on a ledge of the panel is connected by link 12 to latch 2. The window operating mechanism has arms 27, 28 connected to the lower edge of window 24, arm 27 also being connected via toothed segment 29 to pinion 26 carrying clutch 18 and a handle (not shown). Arm 27 is pivoted on a shaft 34 through the panel and carrying a spring in the recess. Window guides 32 are adjustably attached to the panel.
