Abstract

1316492 Suspending Curtains ELKA TRUST REG 15 May 1970 [16 May 1969 and 11 Sept 1969] 23771/70 Heading A4B [Also in Division D1] A curtain suspension device has a first part fastened to the curtain parallel to and spaced from its upper edge and constructed to suspend the curtain, and a second part adapted by clamping means to retain a fold of the curtain extending parallel to the upper edge of the curtain. As shown in Fig.3, each clamping member 5 may pass through a tape loop 3 fixed to curtain 1, the resilient arms of the member ending in a projection 9 and recass, respectively, which together hold the fold. The projection may be pointed and pierce the curtain. Alternatively, as shown in Fig.5, the clamping member may be in two pieces 16a, 16b, each attached to cloth piece 14, 15, which cloth pieces are attached as by sewing to header tape 12 attached to the curtain.
