1297758 Alloy coating composition; coating with metals by spraying DEUTSCHE EDELSTAHLWERKE A G 15 June 1971 [8 July 1970] 28035/71 Headings C7A and C7F An alloy for spraying a weld coating on to a metal substrate, comprises:- B 1À5-5% C 1À5-3% Co 3-10% Cr 10-30% Mo 5-20% Si 2-5% V 1-5% W 3-15% and Mn 0-1% the balance, apart from impurities and incidental elements, being Ni. The alloy is applied by spraying a powder thereof with heat-treatment to effect diffusion of the coating (e.g. at 1050-1070‹ C.) or by weld-coating from a rod of the alloy.
