Abstract
1,151,178. Wrought Ni base alloy parts. DEUTSCHE EDELSTAHLWERKE A.G. July 7, 1967 [Aug. 16, 1966], No.31494/67. Heading C7A. Wrought parts, used in an atmosphere containing V and/or S at a temperature above 500‹ C. are made from an alloy comprising:- Cr 18 - 25% Fe 10 - 17% A1 1 - 5% Si 0 - 5% Mn 0 - 1% C 0 - 0À1% optionally Ta/Nb 2 - 5À5% in total and optionally Ti up to 1À4%, or 2À36% in the absence of Ta and Nb, the balance, apart from impurities and incidental elements (e.g. up to 0À02% B and up to 0À2% Zr), being nickel. The alloys may be solution treated at 1100-1200‹ C. and then age hardened at 700‹ C.
