Abstract

1294692 Multi-storey buildings D P SMITH 23 Oct 1970 [1 Nov 1969 10 Dec 1969] 53648/ 69 and 60229/69 Heading E1A A building is constructed from two gable A-frames 10 interconnected by wall panels 40, floor panels 41 and a ridge piece 42, the frames being mounted on metal shoes 30 bolted to foundation plates 31 embedded in concrete, see also Figs. 5 and 6 (not shown). The frames are made of timber and each preferably provided with two cross-beams 13, 14 whilst the wall panels are made of plywood. For minor details concerning method of erection, adjustment of foundation plates, materials employed and siting on slopes, the Specification and remaining drawings, (not shown), should be referred to.
