647,330. Building frameworks. MALMSTROM, P. E., NIELSEN, K. J. A., and RASMUSSEN, E. K. Nov. 2, 1948, No. 28470. [Class 20(iv)] In a skeleton framework for multistoried buildings comprising columns 10 with transverse and longitudinal girders 12, 14 for each storey which are prefabricated, e.g. in prestressed-wire concrete and are assembled at the junctions in situ, wind bracings 16 are formed in a number of the vertical bays to take up the wind stresses which the structure itself cannot absorb. The bracings may comprise adjustable guys, two forms of which are described and the bays may be completed by very light plates.
