Abstract

1283838 Bottles; caps for bottles COURREGES PARFUMS 4 May 1970 [6 May 1969] 21440/70 Headings B8D and B8T In a plastics cosmetics bottle having dispensing nozzles 3 and screw-threaded closure caps 6 at each end of a cylindrical body 1, the body and caps are of oval cross-section and the threads on the nozzles and caps are provided with cooperating abutments 2 and 10 to ensure that the major axes of the body and caps are aligned when the caps are screwed home. The nozzle orifices 5 are of frusto-conical form and are sized to permit dropwise dispensation of the contents. Each cap is provided with frustoconical projection 11 for sealing the orifice. Alternatively, a flat gasket may be provided. The body may be rigid or flexible. The body may be provided with a lateral partition la, Fig. 2 (not shown), to permit separate storage of two products. The partition may be a separate entity from the body wall or may form part of one of two joined body halves.
