Abstract

A container for dog food is in the shape of a bone so that it may also be used as a play toy for a dog. The container comprises a tubular section 1 divided by a central partition into two chambers, each chamber being closed by a screw-in closure 2 shaped as a bone knuckle.

Description

FEEDING BONE.
This innovation relates to a feeding bone.
The dog bone is a item that the dog can chew for Haver and in addition strcngthe its teeth and gums.
According to the present invention the dog bone center is hollow at both ends with a partition in the center. Both bone knuckles are scren ed in to the ends of the bone when food is placed inside.
This then acts as a food rctaincr.
A specific embodiment of the invention vill now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawing in which- Figure 1 shows the knuckle joints screwed into the central section of the bone.
No. 1 in Figure 1 shows the separated chamber.
Figure 2 illustrates the knuckle joints as unscrewed from the central section.
No. 1 in Figure 2 shows both knuckles. No. 3 in Figure 2 shows the threaded stem which sclews into no. 2 in the same figure.'The central section ftubej has a divider in the middle [no. 4 in figure 2j which acts to separate the chamber to allow the bone to hold more (ban one type of dog snack.

Claims (4)

  1. CLAIMS 1. The feeding bonc comprises of 3 units with the middlc unit's purpose to hold food. etc.
  2. 2. The feeding bone is able to hold a selection of dog snacks as a result of the separate compartments.
  3. 3. Both ends of the feeding bone can be removed and replaced by the action of screwing and unscreing.
  4. 4. As in claim 3 food is kept fresh as it is held secure in a vacuum.
    The feeding bone is an ideal play toy for a dog.
