In a modification the valve guides (100, 102), Fig. 7 (not shown) are continued into the casing (28) to locate the spring portion 80, In a further modification each valve is closed by a hairpin type spring which has a loop located on the valve guide extensions, In a further embodiment the spring portion (80<SP>1</SP>), Fig. 12 (not shown) is engaged under an integral ledge (200) and held in place by an extension on the casing cover.
