A deformable dispensing vessel, e.g. of synthetic plastics material, has a discharge neck closed by a stopper 6, carried by a screw cap 4, a continuous path being provided between the stopper 6 and the underside of the cap 7 by the spaces between circumferential projections 11 around the upper surface of the stopper 6. A sealing rib 15 engaging the cylindrical surface 14 of the neck prevents leakage through the space between the cap and neck walls, and the vertical movement of the cap 4 is restricted by a rib 5 whose impingement on a corresponding rib 2 prevents complete removal of the cap; rib 5 may be pushed past rib 2 when the cap is initially placed on the neck, the stopper 6 being a push-fit into an annular groove 9 of the cap 4.
