Abstract

1,136,230. Securing carpets. QUICK FIT Ltd. 15 Sept., 1967 [14 Oct., 1966], No. 45906/66. Heading A4S. A lath, having pins a for engaging the back of a carpet, is retained between a flange b<SP>2</SP> and a pressed-out arm b<SP>4</SP> of a U-shape bracket B which has apertures b<SP>3</SP> for screws securing the bracket to a floor and to a wall or skirting board. The edge of the carpet, which may be doubled, is received between the arm b<SP>4</SP> and a flange b<SP>1</SP>. In modifications the arm b<SP>4</SP> is welded or screwed to the bracket.
